• The concept of Kendo:
The concept of Kendo is to discipline the human character through
the application of the principles of the Katana (sword).
• The Purpose of practicing Kendo:
The purpose of practicing Kendo is to mold the mind and body,
cultivate a vigorous spirit, and strive for improvement through
correct and rigid training. Kendo also teaches one to hold in
esteem, human courtesy and honor. Instructors for the art of Kendo
train students to associate with sincerity to others and forever
pursue the cultivation of oneself.
By practicing the art of Kendo, the student will be encouraged to
love his country and society, contribute to the development of
culture, and to promote peace and prosperity among all people.
For additional information about the Kendo program, contact Deputy Jeff Domingo at (626) 934-3079 or stop by and say
“HELLO” at the City of Industry Station Community Service Center
located at 205 North Hudson Ave. (directly across the street from
the Sheriff’s Station.) |
