The City of Industry Sheriff's Youth Activities
League offers a course in basic tennis. This program is open to boys
and girls between the ages of 7 and 17 who reside in the City of
Industry Sheriff's Station patrol area.
This program is instructed by members from the Southern California
Tennis Association (S.C.T.A.) and the National Junior Tennis League
(N.J.T.L.)
Students enrolled in the program are taught basic tennis concepts
such as serving, hitting and scoring. While participating in the
program, students will be given the opportunity to attend tennis
clinics throughout Southern California.
Each tennis program session lasts 8 weeks and is held at the
Industry Hills Tennis Club. Practice is held two days a week and
lasts for about two hours.
